The California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute (CPMCRI) is a dynamic group of scientists, research staff, and administrators who specialize in biomedical, clinical, and behavioral research. We are the research component of the California Pacific Medical Center—one of the largest, not-for-profit, private academic medical centers in Northern California—and a state-of-the-art, four-hospital system with a rich and dynamic history of caring for the community of San Francisco.

Our Leadership and Administration team is comprised of individuals working in the departments of Grants and Contracts, the Institutional Biosafety Committee, the Institutional Review Board, and Technology Transfer.

Among our scientific staff, over 80 clinical and discovery investigators merge research institute interests with the needs of CPMC’s medical center, making research an integral foundation for improved patient care.
