Research Overview

  • Dr. Grant specializes in the treatment of hematological malignancies and solid tumors. She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
  • As Chief of the Division of Hematology-Oncology at CPMC, Dr. Grant leads clinical studies of new therapies for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and refractory esophageal cancer.
  • She is leading phase 1 trials of immunotoxins in colorectal cancer and melanoma, and directs the Southwest Oncology Group National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project for the West Bay Sutter Research Consortium.

 

Training


Dr. Grant obtained her M.D. from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She completed residency training in pathology and internal medicine, and a fellowship in hematology-oncology at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
