Oncology Clinical Trials

California Pacific CURRENTS: The online journal of CPMC Research Institute

Our doctors are actively involved in leading-edge research to improve cancer outcomes and care. Through CPMC’s Research Institute, we offer clinical, basic science, and translational research, including oncology clinical trials. Participating in clinical research gives you access to new treatments that may or may not be better than those already available. Study participants are an integral part of the research process and without participants’ involvement, medical advances would not be possible.

News Highlights:

2015 was CPCM's top year for enrollment into its oncology clinical trials, with 13.6% of the hospital's cancer patients enrolling into almost 300 cancer studies - a rate that significantly exceeds the national average.
